Fabrics
o 100% Cotton
- Our linen ranges from 250 Thread Count (TC) to 400 TC.
o Egyptian Cotton/Pima Cotton
- Egyptian and Pima cottons are made with long staple fibres, that create a stronger and smoother fabric.
o Linen/Cotton
- Linen & Moore's linen/cotton guest towels are 55% linen and 45% cotton.
o Cashmere
- Cashmere wool is a fibre attained from Cashmere goat. The wool is fine in texture, and it is also strong, light and soft. When it is made into throws, they are extremely warm. Elm Place stocks pure cashmere throws as well as cashmere/wool mix throws (10% cashmere 90% wool).
o Alpaca
- Alpaca wool is considered one of the most luxurious fibres in the world. It is known for its suppleness with fine, thin fibres making the wool soft and comfortable to touch. The unique thermal abilities of the wool are due to the fibres containing small air bubbles which allow the wool to retain warmth. Elm Place stock ELVANG Alpaca throws in both 100% Baby Alpaca and 50% Baby Alpaca 50% Sheep wool throws. These throws should be dry cleaned only.
o Thread Count
- Thread count refers to the number of threads, both vertical and horizontal, in a one-inch square of fabric. Higher thread counts often result in smoother and softer fabrics.
